Who would buy a home or rent an apartment in a busy intersection?

questioner asked:

I can not believe where they are building homes and apartments now days. Many are located in some of the most incredibly noisy and unattractive locations. Why would anyone want to live there? These are huge homes and are located next to really busy intersections and ugly industrial areas.

Would you ever buy a home in an incredibly noisy location? Why?

My thought would think of it as good investment in future possibilities intersections can become less busy if traffic patterns change and industrial buildings are not necessarily forever otherwise im with you see no reason why anyone would think of it as good.

For some of us urban folk the sounds of traffic people and action are just white noise. Personally I like to be very close to everything. Although I usually live about half a block away from the intersection.
